Terms of Service

Article 1 (Definitions)

• ·"Service" means the chart calculation and interpretation, consultations, reports, brokered counselor bookings, brokered phone consultations, and luck, as provided by the company.
• ·"User" means a person using the service under these terms. There is no account registration; use is carried by a visitor identifier stored in the browser.
• ·"Luck" means a value used only within the service, granted free of charge. It is not money and cannot be bought.
• ·"Counselor" means the third party who provides a brokered consultation directly.

Article 2 (Effect and amendment)

These terms take effect on being posted on the service. The company may amend them within the bounds of the law, announcing any amendment on this screen at least seven days beforehand, or thirty days where it is to the user's disadvantage. A user who continues to use the service without objecting by the effective date is taken to have agreed.

Article 3 (What the service provides)

• ·Free: chart calculation and basic interpretation, the daily reading, the daily lot, I Ching hexagrams, and consultation chat within a daily limit
• ·Paid: in-depth reports, new-year reports, an answer to a single question, and bundles of consultation turns
• ·Brokered: counselor bookings (the deposit is the platform fee; the consultation fee is paid to the counselor directly) and phone consultation connections

Article 4 (The company's position)

In bookings and phone consultations the company is an intermediary and not a party to the transaction. Responsibility for the content and quality of a consultation, and for its fee, rests with each counselor. The company vets the counselors it lists but does not guarantee the outcome of a consultation.

Article 5 (Luck)

• ·Luck is a value granted free of charge while using the service. It cannot be bought or topped up, cannot be exchanged for money or other property, and cannot be sold or transferred to another person.
• ·Luck may be shared only by sending a friend the gift link, and the limits set by the company apply there too.
• ·Luck obtained by improper means is recovered, and use of the service may be restricted where necessary.
• ·If the service ends or the luck scheme is discontinued, the company gives thirty days' notice and luck expires at that point. As luck is never bought, it is not subject to refund.

Article 6 (Payment)

Payment within Korea is by bank transfer and from abroad by PayPal. The service begins when the transfer is confirmed or the PayPal payment completes. The company does not store card details.

Article 7 (Withdrawal and refunds)

• ·Digital content produced and delivered at once, such as a report, may be cancelled for a full refund until delivery begins. After it begins, withdrawal is restricted under Article 17(2) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, and this is stated on the order screen beforehand.
• ·A bundle of consultation turns is refunded in full if none has been used, and in the amount of the remaining turns if some have.
• ·A booking deposit is refunded in full if cancelled before the consultation is arranged, and in full where the booking does not go ahead for reasons on the counselor's side.
• ·A phone consultation is refunded in full until the call is connected. After the call, the amount for the time actually spoken is deducted and the rest refunded.
• ·Refunds are made by the method of payment; a bank transfer is returned to the account you provide within three business days.

Article 8 (The user's duties)

• ·Do not enter another person's personal data without their consent.
• ·Do not access the service repeatedly by automated means or scrape its content.
• ·Do not resell the interpretations and reports commercially or distribute them under your own name.
• ·Do not exploit weaknesses in the service or obtain luck by improper means.

Article 9 (Rights in the content)

The company holds the copyright in the writing and tables the service provides, including the judgments and line texts of the 64 hexagrams as newly written by the company. A report you receive may be read and kept freely for personal use, but not redistributed commercially.

Article 10 (Changes and interruption)

The company may change or discontinue the service, and gives notice in advance of changes that affect paid services. Where an interruption is unavoidable, such as maintenance, a fault or a natural disaster, notice may be given afterwards.

Article 11 (Disclaimer)

The charts and interpretations the service provides are reference material grounded in traditional Four Pillars theory, and cannot serve as a basis for medical, legal or investment decisions. The company is not responsible for decisions made on the strength of an interpretation or for their outcomes, save for damage caused by the company's intent or gross negligence.

Article 12 (Disputes)

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are first addressed by discussion; failing that, they are brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
